Stamper goes to the theatre: "Stage Struck"

Simon Gray is a prominent English playwright and novelist. He wrote 40 original stage plays, screenplays, and screen adaptations of his own and others' works for stage, film, and television, in addition to 5 published novels.

"Stage Struck" is considered as a thriller - comedy. How else could anyone characterize a play in which the main character, Robert, is a failed actor but first-rate stage manager who lives in the shadow of his rich, famous and very ambitious wife? Robert now keeps a house for his West End actress wife, while amusing himself with lots of little sexual adventures. Until one evening, through the clumsy intervention of a psychiatrist, his happiness and his marriage are destroyed, when his wife tells him to leave home within 3 days. This will undermine his rage... He plans a hideous revenge, both on his wife and on the psychiatrist…a revenge which allows him to discover all his old talents...

A thrilling adventure with caustic irony, comedy, mind and power games and an unexpected end... Under the creative and imaginative directions of Thodoris Atheridis, the actors Vassia Panagopoulou, Alekos Sissovitis, Takis Chrisikakos and Laertis Vassiliou come together on stage. Stamper is the team's choice for their excellent theatrical appearance!
